Welcome to Adventure Ready Paws, website "https://adventurereadypaws.ca". I ask that you abide by the terms and conditions as set out below. By accessing, browsing, or shopping on this website, you agree to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. Please read them carefully. By selecting “I have read the terms and conditions”, you are indicating you have read and understand these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. It is your responsibility to ensure you are up to date on the terms and conditions. There will be a modified date at the top indicating a recent change.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" is the property of Adventure Ready Paws. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files, and anything that contributes to the composition of "https://adventurereadypaws.ca".
By sending photos to Adventure Ready Paws of gear in action, you are giving permission for those photos to be posted across any social media platforms, as well as on "https://adventurereadypaws.ca". Adventure Ready Paws reserves the right to use the photos provided, or to not use the photos provided, as well as to take down photos for any reason.
Acceptable Use
As a user of this website you agree to use "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" legally, not to use "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" for illegal purposes. This also includes but is not limited to inappropriate use of additional product access. Adventure Ready Paws can at any time demote your account status (i.e. not having access to pull straps, tester products, etc.). This can be done at any point or time, when deemed a necessary course of action. Adventure Ready Paws reserves the right as to when it is considered a necessary course of action.
If I believe you are using "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" illegally or in a manner that violates these Terms and Conditions, I reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate your access to "https://adventurereadypaws.ca". I also reserve the right to take any legal steps necessary to prevent you from accessing "https://adventurereadypaws.ca".
Accounts
When you create an account on "https://adventurereadypaws.ca", you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
- All personal information you provide through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes. (This can be additionally requested during a creation of a draft order; you are still responsible to ensure any changes are correct when checking out)
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Sale of Goods
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods available.
The general categories are listed below (are subject to change, additional sub products not listed)

- Leash
- Lanyard
- Samples
These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods that are displayed on "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" at the time you access it. This includes all products that may not be in the categories listed above. All information, descriptions, or images that are provided about the products are as accurate as possible. However, Adventure Ready Paws is not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images. You agree to purchase goods from "https://adventurereadypaws.ca". You must follow your own local by laws or regulations set out, products may not be considered legal use in your location (i.e. long lines being too long). Any misuse, or illegal use is the sole responsibility of the customer, Adventure Ready Paws is in no way responsible for these actions.
If you would like to cancel your order before the materials have been ordered (see material order schedule below), you may do so. Once materials are ordered, the sale is final. This means cancellations can not be done. Adventure Ready Paws has a no return policy (this is due to the nature of each product being custom made to your requests). There are no exceptions to this. Alternatively, you can look into my re-use recycling program.
Material Order Schedule is as follows:
- All orders places before 6pm Sunday, will be included in that week’s order
- Any holidays, the next regular business day the material order will be placed by 11am. Any orders places before 11am on the business day following a holiday will be in that weeks material order
Order turn around time may vary from week to week. Every effort will be made to ensure the fastest turn around time while ensuring quality products to be made. Please email any concerns to adventurereadypaws@gmail.com. This may include or be limited to a request for an order to be rushed (additional fees may apply, subject to approval by Adventure Ready Paws), current turn around time line (an estimate is not a guaranteed turn around time).
I reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever I deem necessary. If your order is cancelled and the payment has already been processed, you will receive a full refund equal to the amount paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
I may at any time make such changes in design and/or construction of products. Adventure Ready Paws may find when needed suitable substitutes for materials that are unavailable from suppliers. Any substitutions will require approval from the customer. A delayed response in approval may delay turn around time. If the customer denies the substitution, the order will then be refunded in full and cancelled. The customer is welcome to reorder if the material/hardware they prefer becomes available again. Any substitutions, or alternative materials used are subject to an upcharge. This includes but is not limited to adding a note to a product in your cart. The customization may be approved and may be subject to an additional charge.
Advise may be given but is not deemed an agreement as stated above. You should always, when necessary, consult a trainer or veterinary member for further guidance and assistance.
Pricing can be shown is CAD or USD, it is the customers responsibility to ensure their currency is selected. Pricing is subject to change without notice based on materials costs, and other factors.
Any associated costs for the shipment of product(s) returned for modification through the reuse recycling program are the responsibility of the customer (shipment must have insurance, any duties and taxes are also the responsibility of the customer). Adventure Ready Paws will then draft a new order for any costs associated with the modification requested, and ship back the modified product at the customers expense.
Third Party Goods and Services
Adventure Ready Paws offers Nite Ize® S-Biner® with Microlock® a third-party product. Please refer to Nite Ize for their exact product guarantees. As these are sperate and may be different than Adventure Ready Paws.
Payments
The following payment methods area accepted:
- Stripe (Debit, Credit, Google Pay)
- Sezzle
- E-transfer (Canadian residences only) *payment date indicates when the materials will be ordered, and order then can be made*
When you provide your payment information, you authorize the use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing your payment information, you authorize Adventure Ready Paws to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.
If I believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, I reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.
Shipping and Delivery
When you purchase product(s), the product(s) will be delivered through one of the following methods:
Canadian Customers:
- Canada Post (Regular Parcel);
- Canada Post (Expedited Parcel);
- Canada Post (Xpresspost);
- Canada Post (Priority);
United States Customers:
- Canada Post (Small Packet USA Air) *No tracking available, the “tracking number” is strictly for postal service workers, and no information is visible to the customer or the merchant*;
- Canada Post (Tracked Packet - USA);
- Canada Post (Expedited Parcel USA); or
- Canada Post (Xpresspost USA).
All delivery methods include liability coverage in the event the product(s) get damaged or lost. This is subject to Canada Post’s liability coverage as they define on their website.
Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method selected. Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and statutory holidays. Delivery times are also likley to be longer near major holidays. Please keep this in mind when placing an order. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed.
You will be required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price of the products you purchase. If you purchase goods for delivery to a destination outside Canada, your purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes applied by the destination country. You are responsible for paying any such duties or taxes. Please contact your local customs office for more information before making a purchase. Adventure Ready Paws is not responsible for the payment of any such duties or taxes and is not liable for any failure by you to pay them.
You are required to provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. Adventure Ready Paws is not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of you providing inaccurate or incomplete information.
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Consumer Protection Act, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.
Limitation of Liability
Except as expressly stated in an agreement between you and Adventure Ready Paws (a document which Adventure Ready Paws will send to you outlining otherwise), all products on "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" are provided ‘as is’ without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Adventure Ready Paws and its suppliers and licensors disclaim all warranties, express or implied including without limitation, those for pet gear purpose and non infringement. You are solely responsible for the appropriateness of the site, all content, and product(s) offered by Adventure Ready Paws for your intended application and use. You are solely responsible for the appropriateness of the use of the product(s) offered by Adventure Ready Paws. Adventure Ready Paws does not warrant that any products meet the requirements needed for your pet. Subject to the terms of any agreement between you and Adventure Ready Paws. Adventure Ready Paws, its suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. Even if Adventure Ready paws, its suppliers, or licensors have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Certain laws do not allow for limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you might have additional rights. Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" you indemnify and hold harmless Julia McConnell and any other third parties, from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" or the products made by Adventure Ready Paws or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way "https://adventurereadypaws.ca" is operated it is expected users to behave on our Site. Any revision will have a new date, users are responsible to ensure each time that they have read the most up to date terms and conditions.
